Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Solid Vibes ([legal entity to be added]) for using the Solid Vibes website, apps and APIs (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Solid Vibes for a company, you confirm you can bind it.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live, if higher). [Counsel to confirm.]

• Give us accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. Turn on a passkey or two-step verification, they take a minute.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us quickly if you think it was compromised.
• One person per account. Teams use a team workspace with members and roles.

• There is no free-forever tier. New accounts start with a free trial (currently 14 days, no card needed) with a set number of AI credits.
• After the trial your account becomes read-only until you subscribe: you can still view your work and download STL. Your designs are never deleted because a trial ended.
• Plans, prices, limits (Things, private Things, storage, export formats, features) and AI credit amounts are shown on the pricing page and may change for new billing periods.
• AI credits pay for AI features. Monthly credits reset each period; credits from packs carry over. Credits have no cash value. [Refund treatment of unused credits to be confirmed.]
• Hitting a limit never deletes or locks your work; you can keep viewing and editing, and new Things wait until you upgrade, free a slot or publish one as public.

Paddle is our merchant of record. When you buy a plan or a credit pack you are buying from Paddle, which collects payment and the applicable taxes, issues your invoice and handles billing questions under its own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel any time from Account → Billing and keep access until the end of the period.

• You own your designs and everything else you put into Solid Vibes. Our AI outputs for your prompts are yours to use, subject to the notes on AI below.
• You give us the limited permission we need to host, back up, process and display your content to provide the Service to you and the people you choose to share it with. That is all.
• Private by default. We never use your designs to train AI models unless you explicitly opt in, and you can opt out again at any time.
• You promise you have the rights to what you upload (photos, drawings, files) and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's.

When you publish a Thing as public, you choose an open-source license for it. The default is Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY-4.0); it is configurable, per Thing, to other licenses we offer (and the default may change for future Things). Under the license anyone may view, copy, remix and use your public Thing, including commercially, as the license allows, with the credit it requires.

Making a Thing private again stops new viewing and remixing through Solid Vibes, but cannot recall copies others already made under the license. Remixing a public Thing keeps its history and credit to the original author. Using a public Thing inside your own (a screw, a hinge) never counts towards your Thing or storage limits.

• AI can be wrong. Concept images, generated geometry, manufacturability checks, cost and print-time estimates and simulation results are aids, not guarantees.
• You are responsible for checking a design before you make, sell or rely on it, and for choosing materials, tolerances and processes suited to the use. Do not rely on Solid Vibes alone for safety-critical parts (medical, aviation, vehicles, structural, pressure or life-safety uses) without independent professional review.
• AI output may resemble other output. We don't promise it is unique or free of third-party rights.
• Links to suppliers and bought-part prices are indicative conveniences. We are not affiliated with the suppliers and don't guarantee stock, price or fit.

Don't use Solid Vibes to:

• break the law, or design things whose purpose is to cause harm (for example illegal weapons);
• infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or upload content you have no right to use;
• attack, overload or probe the Service, scrape it, resell access, or get around plan limits, credits, rate limits or bot protection;
• generate or upload sexual content involving minors, or content meant to harass or deceive people.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and will explain why when we can. Report a problem or a takedown request at [email protected].

• We work hard to keep Solid Vibes available but don't promise it will never be interrupted. Features evolve, and we may change or retire them with reasonable notice where we can.
• You can stop using Solid Vibes and delete your account any time, and export your data first from Account → Data & privacy.
• We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, or where the law requires, and will give you the chance to export your data when we can.
• We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes before they apply; continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept them.

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
